Firstly, let me start by saying I LOVED the first 2 Ben 10 games. Sadly, this one is proving to be a real let down.
- You have all Alien forms to start with. Yes, great for kids who want to play their with their favourite, but no 'extra bits' in levels that can only be achieved with other forms. Thus little replay value.
- No option to select difficulty level. This is a real let down in a children's game, particularly if you have children of different ages and abilities.
- The controls are sloppy. The previous Ben 10 games were pretty tight when it came to controls, but this is a frustrating little beast, as you cannot precisely target anything. This often results in missing enemies completely, even when stood right next to them, and makes boss battles incredibly annoying.
- There are long meandering levels, and none of the clear arrow pointing that was in the previous games! It is tricky for children to follow, and gets boring when they don't know where to go next.
- Subtitles in tiny writing, yet no voices on the cartoon cutscenes. Come on Sony, this is a cartoon for goodness sake!

On the plus side, I'm told that the way Ben changes using the onmitrix is much more exciting. However, the game is already proving frustrating and disappointing. If you have real Ben 10 fans, no doubt they will still tell you it is wonderful. Our advice is to opt for one of the previous 2 Ben 10 games though, as they are far more fun.
