OK, so it is Space Invaders, relatively unchanged too.
But what it does add it does with style, class and finesse.
The structured powerup system, the Rez-style synaesthetic beats and backgrounds, the branching level structure, bonus rounds, bosses and more.
It's a much more nuanced game than you once knew, requiring a little more thought and skill. It can still be played as a hectic blaster but there's a lot more depth if you want it.
Absolutely genius for bus/train/tube journeys!

just a graphical change to the original game and the annoying power ups which makes the game boring. worth a download from PSN but not worth buying.
