I bought one of these and there was no life in the battery whatsoever. Didn't charge up at all. I contacted the seller and they sent me another one. This was exactly the same. Got them to refund me

Only buy this as an emergency backup. The battery works, however as many have said there are a number of problems which make it only suitable as an emergency backup. For example, whilst the battery fits into the PSP, it's too large to then get the cover back on, so you have to play it open. You can do this, but you run the risk of the battery falling out and so losing your game position. Also the PSP cannot recognise accurately how much charge is remaining - it runs out around 50% with no warning.
In short, if you're going on a long trip and need a backup for when your original battery runs out, buy it. Otherwise, steer clear.

A really good item it arived quickly and worked out of the box!
It dosent fit exactly in so it takes a little time to close the lid but thats easy!

However, this is not an original PSP battery, it is a slightly fatter, Taiwanese copy. Although its lifetime (when checked) is given to be around 7 hours on 100%, it WILL cut off when the battery gets to 50%, so it is quite deceiving. Max life I got out of it after 4 tests was 3.5 hours (of gameplay). Not bad for the money I suppose but be warned.

The battery might not be the biggest but gosh it still lasts a very long time. The perfect psp slim and lite replacement battery.
