Product Description
It`s time to return to Liberty City, the town where all the rules were broken as Grand Theft Auto 3 revolutionized gaming and made the GTA series the biggest franchise on the planet. The PlayStation Portable edition is an all-new game set in the seedy, sprawling underworld of Liberty City. Just when you thought San Andreas was all you needed in your gaming life, Rockstar today announced that it is working on a brand new Grand Theft Auto title for the PSP. As youd expect from the highly secretive Rockstar, little is known about this latest in the GTA series except that it will take place in the streets of Liberty City (from GTA III) and that it is being developed by Rockstar Leeds. What you can be sure of, is that with the power of Sonys sexy new portable behind it, GTA on PSP wont be just a rehash of the 1997 original. - An all-new, epic adventure set in Liberty City, the 3-island metropolis from Grand Theft Auto 3. the game features a fully 3D experience exactly similar to the PS2 Grand Theft Autos.
- An astounding technical achievement, Liberty City Stories pushes the PSP to its absolute limit, resetting the public`s understanding and expectations of what is possible on a hand-held gaming system.
- Amazing visuals on the PSP due to enhanced draw distance, new lighting and shading models, as well as real-time reflections.
- A massive non-linear storyline penned by Rockstar`s award-winning writing team.
- Professional character voice acting and production.

PSP Game: Liberty City Stories June 7, 2010 D. Dawson (UK) I got this game because I wanted a 3-Dimensional Grand Theft Auto game for the Sony PSP. Due to the fact that the recent Chinatown Wars (PSP) plays from a "top-down" viewpoint, it seemed to be a retrograde step compared to Liberty City Stories, hence my purchase to see the full flavour of Grand Theft Auto on the PSP.
This game makes full use of the PSP's hardware and is excellent, both visibly and audibly. There is plenty to do in this open world of New York (side missions etc.) and as such I have not come anywhere near to completing the game yet. Highly recommended!!
It's impossible to miss this GTA franchise April 7, 2010 M. Alcantara (Lisbon, Portugal) I've bought this game to play when traveling by plane (and I do it a lot). It's that kind of game that really entertains you (and the passenger sitting at your side) for a good amount of hours. It has a great script, where you're part of a Mafia family. Beside the missions you should accomplish, you just can be yourself and start driving around, being a taxi driver, stealing any kind of vehicle, hitting (or even killing) people - if you really want to. In fact you can do whatever you like, and the non-limited scenario provides you an excellent gameplay, graphics and sound, where everything is almost possible! I really recommend it, specially for the Platinum version, that even if it is not the latest GTA, you'll find a great value for money. I've also bought Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (PSP) and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (PSP), which is completing my GTA experience for PSP. Each one has different plots, graphics and characters, so you'll never get bored owning all. If you enjoy a mix of driving, free walking and mission based with a bit of crime, this GTA: Liberty City Stories will fill your desires!
COOL! March 7, 2010 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a brilliant game, the graphics are clear and the storyline is great. But if you are very good at completing GTA games, it should take you about 30 hrs to play. Im brilliant at this game and have played it 1hr a day and in 30 days, i completed it... I think its suitable for kids 12 and over.
Or for kids who won't learn bad language and killing from the game and start to use them in real life.
It has some swearing in the cutscenes so if your kid gets it, they sould skip the cutscene that has the bad language in it.
Ive had this game for a while and havent used any bad language or been violent from this game say my parents.
Brilliant. March 5, 2010 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great game, with only one problem - Mum has to call about 100 times before I hear her when I am playing - and I don't have headphones.
