I brought this thinking it was brilliant, based on the above review, when it came I was impressed, it fitted easily, and seemed really sturdy, it lasted a day!
It broke on one of the hinges, which made the protector case sit at an angle and the ds was popping out of the corner, which made it really annoying when attempting to play games.
I think at the price they are, these are a total rip off, and the seller I brought it from hasn't responded to my emails about this product, either.
All in all a total rip off, be better off putting the money these gimmick accessories cost towards a game.

Simply a good protector for DS Lite. The DS Lite is bit small compared to the original DS and this was annoying since my hands get tired to hold the DS carefully after an hour for playing. Applying this protector really avoided this problem. Also, this will be helpful if you drop your DS lite often.
The only problem is that sometimes, you need to take out this from your DS to clean dusts that covers quite a lot depending on how much you play.
Also, note that after used for a month or so, you will see a lot of scratches on this case. Imagine you get scratches on your DS without this protection. This product is a must have.
