5 out of 5 stars AVOID PRO STREET!!!! GET THIS   May 5, 2008
A. Hayes (britain)
firstly i would like to say that this game is great and so much better than nfs pro street.
Graphics 5/5
Gameplay: 5/5
the only problem with this game is that its too dark! and you cant have day time but that don't matter coz if you want a game like that just buy nfs mw but dont get pro street that is rubbish!
NFS CARBON ROCKS!!

5 out of 5 stars You're all too harsh   April 8, 2008

Don't listen to the bad reviews, if you can pick this up for under a tenner you'll have yourself a great game and lots of enjoyment. Superb graphics this puts some of the new releases to shame. Excellent variation of on line games to play. Get it cheap and you'll love it.

1 out of 5 stars Garbage   January 23, 2008

This is, without a doubt, the worst racing game I have ever played in my life.

It might look nice, and if you want to be considerate you could also admit it sounds alright too. That's as far as it goes. Need for Speed has become "Pimp My Ride - The Game". You're offered a vast array of tack to pin to your car from spoilers to bonnets and alsorts, none of which have much of an effect on the handling of the car...

...which is monumentally appalling. Drive at speed and it seems you can't steer, you can't drive slowly, it's the most unrealistic thing ever. Limited damage, rubbish AI, all added to the fact that it just doesn't move or feel like a car at all. Was this actually play tested?

I mean... you might say what were you expecting, it's an arcade racer. There are good arcade racers, namely Outrun and Test Drive unlimited, hell, even Grand Theft Auto has better racing than this and it's not a racing game.

Asbolutely hideous, avoid it like the plague.

1 out of 5 stars Possibly the worse racing game i've ever played   November 21, 2007

Good points
-Cars look good
-Sound track alright

Bad points
-Worst handling in a racing game i've ever seen, you can't drive slowly, its either all or nothing, very unrealistic. I know its not meant to be the most realistic game in the world, but its still terrible. You can't turn a slight bend at 30 mph without the car going 'SSSSSCCCCCREEEEEEEEECCCCCHHHHH!', just horrible.
-Rest of the game looks terrible, if a game has to hide the fact that its graphically insignificant by setting the entire game at night time, you know its gonna be awful
-Terrible AI
-Choppy frame rates which you would have thought they'd have fixed by now
-Car customization incredibly awkward and time consuming
-Single player career mode way too short - approx 6-7 hours

Do NOT waste your money on this game unless you're a real NFS freak.
Even then i'd just stick with underground 2.
If you've got a PS2/PS3, guy by Gran Turismo.

4 out of 5 stars GOOD FUN BUT NOT ENOUGH   August 18, 2007

I bought this game second hand and glad I did so. Although it was really fun and at times challenging, the overall game was really short. I defeated Darius, the last boss eventually with my SLR Maclaren. After this, the credits came up and blah blah blah but it says that I have only completed 87% which is rather odd. Does anyone know what I have to do after defeating Darius
