4 out of 5 stars Is a good game, but can be frustrating!   January 25, 2008
Barry leslie (Peterborough)
I got this for Christmas and this has really been the only game that I have played on my PSP. I got 15 games in total on Christmas Day (including Vice City Stories, Tomb Raider and Star Wars Lego).

I found that the story runs smoothly enough to begin with, but I began to get a little lost between levels and objectives. I would highly recommend getting a walkthrough guide online (although there is only one), I found that if you used a Warrior Within guide, that will pretty much serve you well. There are PSP only levels to complete (which I hated) so the game is bigger than it's original form.

I found this to be a huge game that allows free movement throughout the Palace of Time. In particular, there are loads of goodies waiting to be found and there are two possible endings to the game.

This is enjoyable at it's best and utterly frustrating when you cannot progress (have faith though). I would recommend this, but it needs a lot of staying power.

4 out of 5 stars Good, But Not Brilliant!   September 5, 2006

Hmm..... Where shall I start?
Well, Prince of Persia is a good game in lot's of different ways but not as good as GTA Vice City Stories because that's the best game on Psp with flying colours. I gave this game four stars Because it's quite fun but gets slightly repetitive after a while with the same puzzles.

Other than that, Running on walls, Turning back time, WHOA!
Surely, no other game brings you that?!
As I mentioned before in the Title, It's good, But not brilliant.

But, It's worth it as the price tag is very cheap!

I gave this game a good rating, because it *is* good. The graphics have carried over well, the combat system is amazing.

But do not be fooled by the changed title if you own a PS2. I bought this thinking it was a different game, and it isn't. This is essentially a Warrior Within port. I gave it a good try hoping I was mistaken, but after the first few puzzles it became pretty clear. I ended up returning it for another game.

This is an interesting game although it has afew downfalls such as the darkness of the game an the whole atmosphere is gloomy. However it can be fun at times like when you are killing people ect.
On the whole I find this game extreamly challanging and would not advice people from under the age of twelve to buy it and you should notice the age sign on the packet before u buy it (15)

5 out of 5 stars Prince on the psp   March 5, 2006

Alright I've never played Prince of Persia before and I'm not familiar with the series. I rented this game out last weekend to play on my new psp and i was absolutely amazed. The graphics are nothing short of magnificent. The scale of the levels is huge and the environments are richly detailed and look stunning on the small screen. The gameplay is great, capturing all aspects of what a real action/adventure game should play like.

The game itself involves you fighting yuor're way through masses of enemies but with a difference. Most adventure games have simple straightforward levels that you breeze through but with this game you have to use your brain to progress. The path is never layed out for you which I think is great. It also makes the game a lot longer.
The prince has a lot of qualities at his disposal and he's very aerobatic. You'll always be able to interact with the environment. For example if you hit a wall with your sword it will bounce back off it with a sound of steel.
I was so amazed by this game I'm going to back and play through the Prince of Persia trilogy on the ps2. If you have a psp then I recommend this game. You will not be disappointed. Thx for reading.
