5 out of 5 stars A great game for a portable console   April 20, 2007

Gripshift is a great game where you have to race, fall and jump to the goal, throughout the levels you will come across traps like dynamite but also find extra points by finding the "GS" in a level. There are also weapons that you can use against your competition but beware, the AI are lethal with them so snatch them before they get them.

By getting more points you unlock new characters, cars and races, levels. As soon as you have done the level then you can practice it in the training part. There are also minigames you get by getting more points, these include penguin bowling, play park, football.

There is also a great feature where you can make your own tracks and then go on them, so you could make the hardest track ever and then go on it whenever you want. You can put in all the things that are featured in levels like jumps, electric fences and magnets.

The graphics are great for a portable console and it is so much fun that you won't be able to put it down.

5 out of 5 stars My 7yr old loves this game   November 8, 2006

Just a quick review to say that my son who is Autistic and has ADHD can sit for hours playing this game. He absolutely adores it and if he can sit through a game, that in itself tells you it's worth every penny! lol
He loves building new tracks, new loops etc etc and then racing his cars, it's personal to him b/c he created the tracks he races on. My 13yr old godson also loves this game.
I can't really say anything else other than 'buy this game', it really is great. :D It was the first game my son had with his PSP for Christmas last year and he STILL chooses this one over his now ever increasing PSP games collection.

Gripshift is the most addictive/frustrating game i have played to date, the multiple race modes means you race the same levels over and over in different ways. This game is not for the inpatient gamer, if you dont mind failing 20 times and then scraping a victory, especially towards the harder levels, it makes you feel so good!Gripshift is a game you must master and an unusually hard racing game. Bargain.

5 out of 5 stars GripShift is the best value game for the PSP ever!!!!!!!!!!!   December 29, 2005

For £16.99 you get a action-packed stunt car game, at half the price of usual games. Compared to Fired Up (which is £30) it will keep you going for ever. It has 3 modes; challenge mode, race mode and bonus mode. Challenge and Race mode have Beginers, Easy, Intermediate, Hard & Insane. The grapics are okay and the sound is fine.
It is a great buy and I advice you buy it. GripShift is worth every penny.

5 out of 5 stars For a handheld console, this is amazing!   December 9, 2005

I was considering buying a PSP for quite a while. I thought it might just be another gameboy. But I was wrong.
This little console is brilliant! The graphics, sound and everything about it is just great.
But when I came to buy the PSP, I was approached by a dilemma. All of the games are a LOT of money. But when I saw this for only £16.99, I thought ‘Brilliant!’.
Of course I was soon imagining this game to be rubbish, seeing the price. Why else would it be so cheap?
So I decided I would look into it before purchasing it. And I’m glad I did.
It’s about four games in one! And they are all very impressive.
You pick it up easily, and with over 100 levels you’ll never get bored!
Going to buy a PSP and are spoilt for choice, then look no further, because this is the game for you.
5 stars!
