3 out of 5 stars Search and rescue? mmmmm?!!!!   November 3, 2002

I brought this game for 3 reasons!

(1) I am into aviation etc
(2) I was in HM Coastguard co-ordinating search and rescue
(3) I own a Playstion 2

Was I disppointed at all? Yes! Not a dismal game but not one that I can say wow about. If any of your interests are the same, buy it! If not don't bother! It is a fun game but not very addictive!

2 out of 5 stars Dull, dull, dull   March 1, 2002

I got this for a present, not really the sort of thing I would've chosen but I kept an open mind. The graphics are OK. I found the control system fiddly and quite sluggish, but overall I just found the gameplay dull. To be fair I feel I must qualify this by pointing out the two games I have been playing most recently are Zone of the Enders and Star Wars Starfighter. Maybe this just isn't really my cup of tea.

2 out of 5 stars Got a spare half hour?   November 21, 2001

This game is fantastic from a graphics a playability viewpoint, why the duff review then? Well it comes down to time. Within a few hours you have exhausted the play options and can only expect to beat your own scores. Very dull! Save your money and buy something else.

I found this game quite entertaining but, I have a problem with it, they have seen fit to make it a top down flying game, which makes it difficult to see weather you are going in the right direction and how far you have to decend, which makes rescues a bit longer. If you have money to burn and fancy a couple of very interesting hours flying around. then I would reccomend this. Or you can wait until the price drops a bit and get better value for your hard earned dosh.

4 out of 5 stars Like a real city   September 5, 2001

This is a great game and is set to be as big as the Sim City series. The missions in this game are amazing and detailed with the missions ranging from saving a person next to a petrol station on the brink of it exploding to a high speed chase. Buy this game if you wish to have hours of fun completing either the easiest of missions or those that take you tons of tries to complete. I really recommend this game and the best part of it is how realistic it is which is often a detail missed by other games like this.
