4 out of 5 stars the simpsons game ps3   August 13, 2010
Mrs. Patricia A. Lockwood (ENGLAND)
I have played this on two consoles now, ps3 and wii, and enjoyed both versions a lot. The storyline, as ever in a simpsons game is the highlight. It is funny and clever with links to many different shows and games. The gameplay is average and the camera controls, although better than the wii, is terriable. The game is farely easy and quick but if you get it for £15 or less it is a good price for what it is. The ps3 version has more levels and is slightly different from the wii version and if you have both and want this game get the ps3 version because it is the better of the two. Overal, i love this game and have and will play it through many more times.

A must have for every Simpson fan. This is the same as the PS2 version, but has far more to do in the main level between worlds. I loved it so much on the PS2 so I had to get the PS3 version now.

2 out of 5 stars Brillent concept but wrong cartoon family   June 29, 2010

I was really looking forward to this game following the hilarious story of the simpsons hit and run i was hoping the story in this game would be better. Right the story is that the simpsons family find out they have powers and they also find out that they are in fact videogame characters. The video game cliches are quite funny like grand theft itchy (grand theft auto) medal of homer (medal of houner) to name a few. What i really find uncomfortable about the story is the the knowledge of the simpsons family knowing the are in fact videogame characters the story is mediorcre at best i did not find the game to be funny or hilarious although i did smile at the parodies but that was about it. game play is ok... thats it its ok nothing too special the family each have a power. Im 17 and i am playing the simpsons hit and run on the ps2 and laughing out loud at the jokes and story in that game and enjoying the gameplay more. I found this game to be very very underwhelming the concept of (1 the family having superpowers and (2 knowing they are video game charcters is good for cartoons like family guy and south park for instance but the simpsons it just did notfeel right. I have been a fan of the simpsons since the age of 4 and i have watched all the series (up to series 13) and laughed out loud with them. This game felt like an insult to all the loyal simpsons fans like myself. mediorce game overall well done EA on a failure next time matt get another developer to take the series into video games.

Purchased for my grandchildren who are pleased with the game and know far more than I do about these things. Fast delivery.

Good two player game. You will have lots of fun playing this game. Easy to complete for all ages. Nothing too complicated. Good family fun.
