It is what it is June 10, 2010 Ophiicus (Norwich) It's a memory card. You store your data on it. It works. It's an official one, therefore it's not likely to fail on you, unlike the unofficial ones. However one of the two I ordered had some kind of manufacturing fault and had to be replaced, which was slightly inconvenient. The replacement works fine.
Sony Platstation 2 Memory Card May 10, 2010 Melvin Parker (United Kingdom) The product was new and correctly packaged. It worked well when initially plugged into the playstation and continues to do so. The price was competitive and delivery was well within 5 days, so overall a good purchase.
A must have January 13, 2010 K. Houghton (Ferndown, Dorset) This is perfect for all ps2 saved games, and a must have if you've got a ps2 (but remember - it can't save ps1 files, you need a ps1 memory card for that)
The Only Memory Card July 30, 2009 DL Productions UK (Merseyside, UK) For me, using the Official cards is the only way to go; I learnt this lesson well when I got a cheap branded card for my PS One years ago, it broke into pieces for nearly no reason, so ever since I have been using the official cards. They are very good to a fashion, but sadly sometimes things happen to them, so if you have few games, make sure you buy two to back up the first one, as they can go wrong. Not sure if this is the PlayStation 2 which does this or whether it's the memory used, but I lost a huge amount of data - in fact I had around 12 game saves on an 8MB card, so beware, and always back up.
Otherwise this is a well built card, good plastic and nice little stickers to put on the front of the card so you know what's on them (as they're the same colour). Just make sure to keep them clean, away from bright lights and away from humidity, and they should last you a long time with faultless play.
Shockingly Large Memory May 24, 2009 Mrs. D. J. J. Stehrenberger WOW! I had my PS2 for 5 years and never used up it's memory. I played on it every day and am proud to say it never failed me. When I got it it was pricey but still worth it. It is impossible to go without and here Amazon is selling it cheaper by far than Game and Gamestation. A definate definate MMMUUUUSSSSTTT buy. NOW.
