4 out of 5 stars great for the kids   May 14, 2008

My 4 year old convinced me to buy this and I'm so glad I listened (this time). Not only has he spent loads of time playing (and enjoying) this game but so have I (yes, I'm 30 years old!).

The graphics are pleasing enough but it really comes into its own with it's playability. There's a decent amount of challenges on the surfing (obtaining a certain amount of points or passing through the gates) and a little extra game from the main menu (leaf sliding!).

Even if your child can't achieve the required level at the beginning, they will find the fun of the game exciting - getting to use different characters and surf boards etc.

I won't suggest it's educational but I've enjoyed playing this one with my son and we get to talk and laugh together - what a treat for any dad!
