Product Description Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is a violent and chaotic journey of two supposedly dead men - a flawed mercenary and a medicated psychopath ? and their brutal attitude towards right and wrong. Kane and Lynch's volatile partnership combined with innovative technologies allows Kane & Lynch: Dead Man to be an unparalleled gaming experience.
Amazon.co.uk Preview With the Hitman series already well established, Danish developer Io Interactive are not exactly masters of the family friendly game. This latest effort is their most violent and shocking yet, as you take control of reluctant mercenary Kane and his schizophrenic partner Lynch. Neither character likes the other but for the purposes of the story they have to work together in a series of violent third person shoot outs. By default you control Kane, with the computer or another player taking on the role of Lynch. As the game progress you will also be able to recruit a team of up to eight mercenaries, with your reputation determining the quality of the personnel applying for the job. Ordering your squad around is easy enough but since any of them, particularly Lynch, can have completely different objectives to you, they won't always take orders - particularly if they've taken a dislike to you already - which is a real problem when you want them to administer some first aid.Although it is much more action packed than the Hitman games, there are obviously similarities between the two games, with highly interactive environments and multiple ways to approach any problem. One particular highlight already demonstrated involves a kidnapping at a rave with Kane & Lynch firing into the air to disperse a large crowd of dancers before engaging in a brutal gun battle with security guards, as the sound and music system continues to flash and blare. If the rest of the game is just as inventive with its scenarios then Io may well keep Kane and Lynch alive for a little longer. HARRISON DENT

do not waste your money November 9, 2008 Mr. I. Lewis (Liverpool, England) there is no enjoyment out of this game at all! the controls and charactors are unresponsive most of the time. all the way through the game you are under stupid amounts of gun fire from all directions and on top of that you are responsible for the lives of other charactors that take ball breaking to another level when they get in your way and end up getting shot. this game is ridiculously frustrating and i guarantee that there is'nt a single person out there who hasn't took at least 10 tries to overcome one certain stupid mission on this game. im not saying that games should be easy but when you fail a mission over and over again because of unresponsive controls and charactors; that lack enough common sense to stay out of a bullets way, it really takes the fun out of the game.
I'm being Generous... November 9, 2008 A. B. Mckay (Scotland) This game is another case of poor and unfair reviewing. Kane and Lynch certainly isn't the greatest game of all time, and is far from it but people aren't taking into consideration the whole package. Okay, the script isn't great - the F word being used nearly every sentence but I don't think that's a bad thing. If you were in Kane's posistion you'd be the same. One of the best things about Kane and Lynch is the story. Although it is very short, story mode is brilliant and different. My favourite chapter is a point where you and Lynch sneak in a night club in the ending seeking help from one of Kane's old friends, when she denies, Lynch snaps, throught the story this happens when Lynch is not on medication, this adds to the entertaining of the story and made me wanting to play past the short story. As I've said the story may be short but it is far from dissapointing. I'm sick of people giving Kane and Lynch 1 or 2 star reviews, if you play on - it is uch better than that. I almost gave it 3 Stars because of the glitchy - not great graphics and speech but overall I enjoyed Kane and Lynch and for the price it is now, I would highly reccomend buying it.
DO NOT BUY KANE AND LYNCH DEAD MEN October 30, 2008 mary Sullivan (uk) DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! you will regret it. it is terrible. the camera angle is wierd so that the character is not in the middle ofthe screen but to the left , the controls are confusing (and non editable) and the cover system is rubbish. this may be the worst 3rd person shooter ever made. also the graphics are terrible.
Brilliant September 1, 2008 Mrs. Amanda Bright (seattle) i don't know why all of these people found this game so unbearable to play. Personally i think this game is a brilliant shoot out game and reccomend others to play it.It is an addictive game and lets be fair it is relativly cheap. For all those gaming fans out there i would say that kane and lynch dead men is a definate 8.5/10
No God No June 10, 2008 Mr. P. Maxwell Im have never played a game as bad as this the AI is horrid well either that or lynch is just extremly thick tho it could be both. The graphics are horrible and the bugs are even worse. DONT BUY THIS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
