Bought this to help reduce the dust that my PS3 tends to attract but it also causes your PS3 to overheat due to the covers blocking the air-vents! So...I wasted 12.00...My PS3 has lived to fight another day but I have thrown away the kit!

Ours did not fit either.

I bought this for my 40GB PS3 and it dosen't fit. PLEASE NOTE THESE ONLY FIT 20GB OR 60GB PS3'S. You have been warned!! That said they look like they would do a great job.

I'm giving this a 1 star as I bought this for my ps3 and dosn't fit when I studied the items I notice that the clips were in the wrong place and ONE BIT OF VITALL INFORMATION AMAZON FORGOT TO STATE IS THIS IS FOR THE 20 AND 60 GB MODELS the product itself is good but the clips are very flimsy and will probally break

What can you really say about these dust guards. . .
They come in a well packaged box, you take them out of the plastic wrappers they each individually come in and fit them, they just slot and clip in, no tools needed.
Had them in a few days with my PS3 standing vertically and running for several hours, with no problems, no signs of over heating, no crashes. . .
Would I recommend you get these? Sure, keeps the dust out but I'd say only use these if you have your PS3 standing vertically with a stand, that way any heat will rise up and out of the vents and through the filters.
