2 out of 5 stars Major Misgiving   December 1, 2008
M. Owens (Liverpool, UK)
Pretty much concurring with what everyone has said thus far, the case is sturdy and does what it says, by protecting your PS3.

But, holding ALL accessories? Not a chance.
No room AT ALL for the Sixaxis Pad's, what is the point of owning something to transport your PS3 to another location, by having to transport some of the items belonging to it in another bag?

Pointless.

So, only buy this if you want to look as though your carrying something heavy, expensive and prone to be robbed.

4 out of 5 stars Sturdy case solution   June 11, 2008
M. Eagle (UK)
Having seen reviews on here about no storage space for controllers I was apprehensive about purchasing this case. I decided to anyway as I usually have my laptop with me anyway which has its own case so could put controllers in there.
The case is well made with a nice quality material lining the inside, there is space for the console and associated leads and in its shipped configuration has no room for a controller. However I found that the divider between the two small compartments can be removed giving enough space for one controller. Not only do you get space for 10 discs but the panel they are stored in can be flipped down and there is a compartment behind where a few game boxes can also be stored. As it is made with aluminium panels and corner pieces the case feels quite solid and should protect the PS3 well.
The only reason the case didnt get 5 stars was because the handle is made out of plastic which seems a bit of an oversight as the rest of the case is metal. Considering the price it should really have also been made of metal as with the heavy PS3 inside it does make you wonder how long the plastic will survive the strain.

First of all please do not buy 1 !!!

Quality of the product is rubbish in my view.

Not worth the money.

Not fit for purpose as the maker states room for ALL accessories !! Totally False Claim.

The Controllers DO NOT FIT IN

3 out of 5 stars PRO METAL CARRY CASE   September 23, 2007

Firstly, case is sturdy - which is what you need to house the rather heavy, and cumbersome PS3 console.

Yes, it stores 10 discs. But, as for the product description:-

"Ever wanted to look cool and keep your console protected while travelling?

Now you can with the Pro metal carry case. The Pro metal case offers protection from scratches and bumps with it's strong exterior. The extra roomy padded interior houses the PS3 console and accessories to keep them safe during transport."

Firstly, it does not make you look cool, it shows that your carrying something heavy, that is perhaps expensive - making you prone to looks, and who knows what else.

Secondly, it mentions it has a roomy padded interior, this is false - the PS3 fits snugly yes, but the power cable is very hard to get in next to it.

Thirdly, it mentions it will hold all accessories, the wireless controllers are accessories, and these in NO WAY fit into the case, there is no room for them at all - which is a major misgiving on the manufacturers part, as what good is a carry case that means you have to house the controllers in something else for your journey?

The overall case in my opinion is good, but the major omission of room for controllers lets this product down immensely.

So, buy it if you want to house your PS3 safely for travel, but if you want to play the PS3 at your destination, be prepared to carry your pad(s) in hand.
