3 out of 5 stars NOT EVEN A TRUE PS3 KEYBOARD, MY ADVICE IS TO WAIT!!!   June 4, 2007

Dont get me wrong this is a good keyboard and i know that we can get good products from other manufacturers other than sony but to me this isnt one of them (sorry) anyway ill start with the good:- well obviously its fully compatible with ps3, has a nice slim profile, very easy to set-up,and has built-in mousepad, obviating the need to connect a mouse to your ps3. and also for the technical minded this keyboard uses 2.4ghz RF technology (via usb dongle) that has a range of 30ft, keyboard also works with windows and macs.. so all in all this is a decent enough keyboard and it peforms very well indeed.

but me personally i think its a tad pricey as this keyboard isnt even a true ps3 keyboard. and looks wise dont even let me get started it looks like something from the 80s (comodore64 springs to mind) not good lol if it had a nice black finish that matched the ps3 then id be more than happy but this keyboard doesnt look and feel like it belongs to the ps3 and that alone puts me off, maybe im to fussy but why pay 40quid for something that feels and looks out of place,if your the kind of person like me who needs there gadgets to match one another in terms of colours name brands etc then avoid this as it really does look out of place.

but if your not as fussy as me. then i would recommend this keyboard as it does peform well even though it is to expensive..

reason im awarding this 3 stars is because of its ease of use. it peforms well. but as im the kind of person that likes my gizmos and gadgets to match this isnt for me.

hope this helps guys...

4 out of 5 stars Not bad, could be better   May 18, 2007

OK, I'm a mug for spending so much on something that feels and looks like it was built in the same factory as Kinder Eggs, but I needed this for my PS3 as using the controller was becoming a pain and I don't like the clutter of USB cables across the floor.
Overall it feels cheap and will probably last as long as the 2 x AA batteries it comes with, but it does the job well and is slim enough to slide out of the way, and the novelty factor of using a wireless KB has not worn off yet.
Overall I would give this 3 stars, but when I found it worked seamlessly with XP, that was an unexpected bonus and worthy of an extra star..

This is a great keyboard for the PS3 for when you want to IM other people, when you are surfing the internet and is very good when you are using Yellow Dog Linux. This will also be very good for Home when comes to the PS3.

3 out of 5 stars Missed a few tricks..   May 6, 2007

I'm disappointed in this. As the PS3 has bluetooth built in you would think Logitech would make this keyboard bluetooth, but it isn't. Instead it comes with a wireless usb adapter you have to plug into one of the PS3 USB ports. Also, the keyboard doesn't have the joypad keys on it. So if you example you need to navigate using the triangle, square, circle keys etc you have to use your joypad.

Overall I think it's OK, but it could have been so much better.
